My client is the world leader in the LNG sector of the upstream industry with the application of new technologies to commercialize currently unexploited offshore gas fields. Since the companies’ inception the organization has become the leading player within this new upstream market sector.
A need has now arisen for a well rounded and experienced Subsea Engineering professional to take overall responsibility for the subsea aspect of the companies’ field developments interests; The role will involve managing the interface between the subsea systems and the offshore production facilities, input into field specific development planning and managing the subsea feasibility and FEED studies, to be undertaken primarily be third party contractors.
The role will entail working closely with the in-house subsurface team for business development and upstream concept development. Scheduling and cost estimating for overall project development should also be expected as a key aspect of this position.
