Job Description:
Inspectors are responsible for the witnessing, monitoring, surveillance and reporting of supplier and field fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, test and inspection activities of mechanical equipment to ensure that processes are performed in accordance with relevant plans, procedures, general arrangements, inspection procedures, drawings and specifications on a project-by-project basis.
Inspection will be for two (2) Pratt Whitney FT4 TwinPac power units being refurbished for purchase.
Inspections will consist of:
- Confirmation of current situation of equipments
- Order verification for equipments
- Inspection of refurbishment of equipments (residentially) and confirmation that refurbishment follows specs and Quality Plan.
- Expediting of refurbishment progress and assurance of on-time delivery
- Witness FAT and approval of test certificates
- Packaging and preshipment inspection of equipments.
Required Skills:
- Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of applicable experience in mechanical disciplines including fabrication, machining, assembly, installation, inspection and testing as well as a solid working knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
- Must also have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in both progress reporting and active expediting of various types of industrial equipment, products, supplies and services as well as be familiar with critical material, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, inspection, testing, packaging and material handling logistics.
