As the Band prepares for the future, it requires the skills and expertise of an experienced human resources generalist for the position of:
Manager of Human Resources
Working closely with the CEO/Band Administrator, the Manager will provide a single point of contact for a broad and complete range of HR services related to the administration of FMFN’s various service offerings. The Manager will also represent management and participate actively on various joint committees to maintain ongoing relations between management, employees, industry and the community. In addition, the Manager may provide his/her expertise and advice to FMGC and the various JV’s regarding staff planning, succession planning, recruiting, compensation and benefits, mentoring and performance management. The ideal candidate will be a university graduate with 15 or more years of relevant HR experience, possess a high energy level and demonstrate flexibility coupled with exceptional time management, planning and prioritization capabilities. As the “front and centre” Human Resource leader, the incumbent will be recognized as possessing well developed analytical and problem solving skills while displaying the highest level of personal integrity, independence and sound judgment in all types of business settings.
