An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join an international oil and gas exploration and production company. With work currently underway, they are now seeking to expand their team at site.
You will ensure the performance and functional requirements of Rotating Mechanical Equipment to project specifications. Reporting to the Commissioning Start Up Engineering Lead, you will administer the engineering associated with mechanical rotating equipment for several LNG trains. Additionally you will be responsible for the startup and operational testing, manage technical changes and deviations, attend inspections and walk downs to final acceptance. Reviewing the construction schedule, engineering deliverables, approval of outstanding punch items in line with agreed project milestones will be further responsibilities in this role.
You will possess relevant Engineering qualifications with a minimum of 12 to 15 years overall experience some of which are related to LNG site commissioning and construction work.
This is an 18-month contract assignment based in Karratha, Western Australia. It is offered on single status FIFO basis with accommodation provided at a newly constructed camp. However residential accommodation on family status can be discussed for the right candidate. This is a high profile project with a leading company in the field.
