Description:
Provide onshore technical and administrative support for the seismic processing services performed on CGGVeritas marine vessels.
Assist with the evaluation and preparation of acquisition tenders.
Represent the company in client meetings to review OBP requirements.
Liase with the Project Geophysicists on a daily basis.
Supervise the OBP services.
Act as the main local processing contact for both the Project Geophysicist and the processing centre.
Provide technical support with regard to assessing the survey requirements, setting up of the processing flows and ensuring that the quality and integrity of the service is of the highest standard.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of signal processing experience preferable with a good working knowledge of marine acquisition and processing geophysics.
Possess good communication skills.
Be prepared to use initiative when necessary.
Visit the vessels at survey start ups and crew changes when required.
May be the occasional need to spend short stays on vessels.
