Reporting to the Property Controller, you will handle full cycle accounting and will have overall responsibility and accountability for your work load.
Duties Include:
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for business activities on assigned properties – taking into account building occupancy, renewals, leasing fees, amortized capital expenditures etc.
- Variance analyses of the balance sheets and income statements
- Review statements and General Ledgers
- Prepare year-end audit
- Review working paper files, GST returns and reconciliations for assigned legal entities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Review and post monthly rent rolls
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities by analyzing variances from budget and previous periods
- Review and sign off on property related transactions
- Review and approve bank reconciliations
- Prepare Monthly Financial statements
- Prepare reports and ad hoc projects as required
Experience required:
- 5+ years experience in increasingly responsible accounting positions
- Latter stages of a recognised accounting programme – i.e. 4th/Pace level CGA/CMA
- Knowledge of CAM processes and industry standards for recoverable/non recoverable expenses
- Advanced knowledge of Excel

- Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Industry experience
- Yardi experience
- Knowledge of OLAP/Crystal Reports

- You are passionate and motivated and have first class English communication skills,
- both written and oral, as you will be communicating with staff and managers, external auditors and accountants and consultants.
