Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the commercial functions encompassing contracts, procurement and supply chain management.
• Developing and maintaining the current policy and procedure concerning sourcing and commitment guidelines
• Providing commercial advice to the business in all matters concerning the sourcing of external services and material procurement from a global network of vendors and contractors
• Managing contractors and vendors relationships in a professional manner
• Providing advice on effective terms and conditions formats for service contracts, price agreements and purchase orders
• Drafting as required new contract clauses and or formats to suit new business needs
• Continually be abreast of market conditions and sources of service and materials considering the global aspect of the oil and gas business and local business drivers
Job Qualification:
• B. Sc. in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 15 years of total experience post qualification in Oil & Gas
• 10 years of minimum experience in related designation / specialty.
• Work effectively with peers in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English
