Job Purpose:
Provide Planning support to site in ensuring that the plant, equipment and systems necessary for achieving Business Unit’s performance target are kept in fit for purpose conditions through proper monitoring of Planned Maintenance Implementation.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Perform troubleshooting of Business Unit Equipment mechanical facilities and provide solutions.
- Provide technical support to site operating and maintenance personnel
- Investigate and analyze equipment failure and propose ways to eliminate re-occurrence
- Provide offsite repairs support through local workshops/vendors
- Specifies requirements for spare parts requirements for new equipment and upgraded equipment.
- Plan, organize, major, overhauls, up-grading works requirements on behalf of site.
- Prepare reports of major works and coordinates findings.
- Ensure proper training is provided to graduate UAE Nationals on assignment to R.U.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 10 years working as mechanical engineer of which 5 years should be in oil and gas industry
- Experience should cover static equipment, machinery, tanks and piping.
- Computer literate and familiarity with MAXIMO are preferred.
- Very good knowledge of English
