Job Description:
Responsible for supporting ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) optimization projects domestically and internationally
Duties:
- Work with Business Development team and independently to secure ESP optimization opportunities by contributing to technical meetings, customer presentations and seminars and other customer visits domestically and internationally.
- Help collect market intelligence pertaining to the ESP optimization from the regions (customer needs/competition/opportunities)
- Identify and qualify customers to understand their requirements and map solutions that meet their need.
- Provide ESP software user training to customers domestically and internationally.
- Mentor on production optimization.
- Kick off ESP optimization projects domestically and internationally.
- Travel to customer locations, learn about customers' needs and issues.
- Capture and report issues to support teams in product centers.
- Follow up on the issues and ensure they are fixed on timely basis and the client is content with the project.
- Track and provide visibility on the solution projects - the ones being pursued as well as the ones that are active.
- Play project assurance role to ensure smooth delivery of solutions and services at customer site.
- Provide QA testing of solutions once they are installed in locations.
- Provide consulting to customers, oil and gas operators, on optimization of their ESP wells. Sometimes it might involve staying in international locations for as long as 2 months.
- Provide technical and project leadership to solution delivery teams like deployment and consulting teams.
Experience / Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering (mechanical, petroleum, chemical)
- At least 3 year experience in Production Engineering with emphasis on ESPs.
- Ability to understand customer needs and map those to [Company]'s products domain
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills including technical and business presentations to customers .
- Ability to work with customers and manage their expectations
- Project Management skills to create, deliver and manage deliverables.
- Excellent team work and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to calmly manage crisis situations.
- Extensive Domestic and International travel.
- Above average Microsoft office skills.
