Job Description:
Responsible for the design, implementation and management of strategic supply chain initiatives across supply chain functions and product lines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Leads supply chain programs function and activities:
- Manages supply chain programs including leadership development, quality management, continuous improvement and information technology
- Develops budgets and operational plans for strategic supply chain programs
- Defines and implements new programs and capabilities required to improve the effectiveness of the supply chain organization
- Manages implementation of strategic supply chain programs including the integrated supply chain strategy in conjunction with the supply chain leadership team
- Manages the technology blueprint and system changes required to support the supply chain organization
- Defines and manages the supply chain leadership development program
- Defines and manages strategic supply chain programs and projects:
- Defines strategic roadmap for supply chain improvement programs
- Implements quality management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Implements new processes and systems required to support supply chain organization in conjunction with information technology
- Implements leadership development and talent management programs in conjunction with human resources
- Monitors success of programs and defines improvement plans
- Know and understand [Company] Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of [Company].
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications:
- Broad supply chain management skills and knowledge
- Project management
- Knowledge of supply chain systems and processes
- Strong manager and people developer
- Superior communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to create and maintain strong business relationships
- APICs certification Preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Business or related field
- 10+ years of supply chain management experience in progressively senior positions
- Experience implementing large scale projects
- Able to communicate supply chain objectives clearly and convey the benefits to the organization
- Familiarity with JD Edwards, SAP or equivalent ERP systems
