Essential Responsibilities
- Create/understand System Engineering Scope and allocate with the Project Team. This includes technical cooperation with other departments, customers & suppliers.
- Interpretation and creation of specifications, utilize relevant tools, processes, procedures and industry standards for assigned tasks
- As System Interface Engineering, you should provide knowledge, understanding and experience within Control System components including hydraulic and system operation
- Write procedures, manuals and reports, update documentation and drawings and create work packages for specialist tasks
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical support
- Trouble shooting and technical status reporting on control system
- System FMECA / HAZOP analysis
- Act and perform according to [Company] Growth Values and with unyielding integrity
Qualifications/Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control System Engineering or Subsea Technology
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Be familiar with the design process from the concept phase to delivered product
- Knowledge of system design, testing and operation
- Knowledge and experience within project planning, risk management, HMS and QA.
- Good English communication skills both oral and written
It is very important that you are flexible and proactive, and that you are able to initiate own initiatives and drive the processes from an engineering perspective
Desired Characteristics
- Preferred Software Knowledge: Autocad or similar, PLC- and HMI software tools and Microsoft Office
- Oil & Gas experience is an advantage
