Essential Responsibilities
  • Drive product line vitality, multi generational product planning, new product development, cycle reduction and cost out actions on Reciprocating Compressor product line.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Platform Managers and ITO teams to assess competitiveness, integrating market analysis and customer/market segmentation to identify key areas of focus for product development/growth
  • Work in close collaboration with all functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, etc) to drive Reciprocating Compressor specific strategies, driving new product introduction process and executing on cost out and cycle reduction action deck
  • Develop, integrate and lead cross-functional cost out strategy and implementation, and go to market strategies to effectively manage overall product line profitability of Reciprocating Compressor product line
  • Develop and lead prioritization to allocate properly new product spending to effectively address competitiveness requirements
  • Provide leadership on Reciprocating Compressor product line during annual business planning processes - MGPP, GPB and S2 Board of Director reviews
  • Work closely with Marketing, Configuration Management Team, ITO and Engineering Teams to develop comprehensive commercialization plans and tools for new products
  • Lead dynamic, cross-functional teams to meet internal product line business commitments and customer expectations in the marketplace
  • Own and execute GPB Deliverables and Cost Out Action Plan. Actively integrate rigor into new product introduction process, managing the prioritization of the NPI budget
 
Qualifications/Requirements
  • BS Degree with Engineering background
  • Previous experience in Product Management and/or Marketing/Commercial Leadership Experience.
  • Requires strong communication skills and cross functional breadth to provide strong leadership and direction to product teams.
  • Strong analytical and statistical data-driven skills. Must be able to develop and present new product business cases, cost/benefit analysis, economic modeling, and resourcing plans.
  • Must be able to energize teams at all levels of the organization and effectively balance multiple initiatives.
  • Requires high energy, assertiveness, and self motivated individual to work in a fast paced environment with limited direction.
