Essential Responsibilities
This position will be the business and industry acquisition management expert for Fabrication material reporting to the Fabrication Commodity Leader for [Company]. Fabrication commodity includes critical products such as Baseplates, enclosures, buildings, steel structures, Fab casings, Plenum and Reactor saddles. Through strong technical/market expertise & leadership skills a successful candidate will:
- Be a focal point for [Company] & lead the development & execution of long term, global commodity strategies for Fabrication materials.
- Drive the integration of strategies into the design and / or manufacturing objectives as well as supporting [Company] businesses market strategies.
- Develop complex, global & comprehensive supplier/buyer contractual and strategic relationships.
- Develop negotiations strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals & objectives.
- With Technology partners or team members & in accordance w/the strategy, drive supplier selection, development, & overall supplier management.
- Be an integral member of the Global Sourcing Team.
- Drive Sourcing Initiatives including deflation, cycle reduction, Best Cost Country Sourcing, Lean, and cash flow improvement.
- Work in strict cooperation with [Company] infrastructure GCLs.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BS/BA Degree (Technical or Business preferred).
- 5 + years sourcing/operational experience.
- Cross-functional and International team experience.
- Fluent English
- Oil & Gas Market knowledge
- EHS: Is accountable for EHS performance
