Purpose
- To support the Well Engineering Department with respect to cost, business performance tracking SAP and WEPI, EDM data base management
- Share task of Well Operations Engineers for data entry into SAP
- To fully support Well Engineer/ Contract holder/ Cost/Performance engineer for maintaining & updating database, quality checks and generation of performance reports
- Furnish on demand, precise data on cost & performance to Well Engineers for the purpose of planning, analysis and for development of Well Cost Catalog for Program Build activities
- To provide technical assistance, on need basis, to Well Engineers for EDM software
- Follow up on material availability by working closely with Well Engineers, Senior Well Engineers and Well Engineering Materials Team.
- Support Contract holder in SAP and contract performance reports
Accountabilities
- Assist the focal point for cost and performance data and be responsible for maintaining high quality data in Well Engineering tracking systems such as SAP , WEPI, and EDM thus ensuring their effectiveness
- Work with operations engineers on material and drilling services chasing and Support well engineers in SAP data entries
- Monitor, Check & report on PR/PO/SE SAP data quality status
- Notify Operations Engineers on pending Well Engineering Performance Indicators (WEPIs).
- Notify Operations Engineers on pending End of Well Reports
- Update operational/cost/initiative tracking overview
- Assist the team in the field and the office as required.
Special Challenges
- Work closely with Well Engineering team in order to relieve them of the time spent on data management and SAP entries.
- Maintain high quality data in Well Engineering tracking systems
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Minimum Diploma/HND in engineering (preferably a Diploma in Well engineering/Oil & Gas/mechanical/civil/industrial).
- 3 year’s experience. Preferably in Oil & Gas Industry.
- Fluency in English
- Ability to create spreadsheets and viewgraphs and to effectively utilize existing databases to collate business information
- Previous operational experience with the use of SAP would be an advantage
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to meet challenging targets with quality work output
- Previous operational experience with the use of SAP/DIMS would be an advantage
