Details:
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Standard First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Rig Work Fall Protection
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
- Work Setting: Drilling and well service contractor
Oil and Gas Well Drilling Worker Specific Skills:
- Align and manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem from a platform on the rig derrick,
- Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs
Oil and Gas Well Services Operator Specific Skills:
- Attach pumps and hoses to wellhead
Security and Safety:
- Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
Own Tools/Equipment:
- Steel-toed safety boots, Safety equipment/gear, Gloves, Hard hat, Ear plugs
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads,
- Physically demanding,
- Attention to detail,
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Site Environment:
- Outdoors, At heights, Confined spaces, Dangerous, Wet/damp, Noisy, Odours, Hot
Transportation/Travel Information:
- Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel
Essential Skills:
- Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication,

Other Information:
- Applicants are required to have a class 5 drivers license with air brake endorsement,
- confined space, H2S Alive and First Aid.
