Key responsibilities of this role include:
· Maintaining the plant static equipment asset registers to satisfy statutory requirements and for ongoing updates of the risk based inspection program;
· Planning and implementation of the risk based inspection program and ensuring compliance with plans. Liaison with onshore and offshore operations and support groups to optimize planned inspections within the integrated maintenance plans;
· Contract management of inspection contracts and focal point for inspection resources, tools and techniques for routine and specialized inspections;
· Managing the anomaly management system to resolve inspection findings (anomalies) including coordination for risk assessment, prioritization of remedial works, agreeing resource allocation with multi disciplinary teams, progress tracking, and metrics reporting until close out of anomalies;
· Leading and/or participating in incident investigation and failure analysis of incidents related to asset integrity.
To be considered for this position, applicants will have:
· Senior level qualification in Plant Inspection and/or NDT (AICIP/ASNT/API)
· Minimum 5 years experience in Plant Inspection management or similar role
· Experience in computerised maintenance management systems (SAP or other)
· Degree in engineering (Mech/Corr/Material Science) desirable
· Detailed practical knowledge of NDT techniques and their applications, be able to carryout level 1 Fitness For Service (FFS) Assessments per industry standards and ability to follow thorough higher level assessments with specialized resources
· Experience with plant shutdown or turnaround inspection planning and resource management
· Strong PC skills including the use of MS Word, Excel, and Project
