Job Description:
The responsibilities of Buyer Specialist center around ensuring the various vendors perform in line with the plant's expectations with respect to cost, delivery, and quality. This is achieved by holding regular discussions with vendors either face-to-face or over the phone. This professional is responsible also for team management of buyers. The professional will manage a specific commodity, external services or MRO division of products and activities.
The activity involves a wide relationship with internal departments in order to ensure the product or service is supplied correctly and on time to meet the customers' requirements and also to ensure the raw material is designed and purchase cost-effectively to maximize Cameron's benefit from the projects
Job Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Graduation on Business or Engineering;
- Post-graduation desirable;
- Solid Experience on Purchase/Procurement department, in multinational industries working directly with: negotiation, development of new suppliers, components nationalization, purchase of raw material (steel), external services or MRO;
- Experience in team management;
- Resilience and strong interpersonal relationship skills
