Essential Job Duties:
  • Oversee risk management program development, implementation and compliance.
  • Responsible for compliance with [Company] risk and [Company] facility related standards.
  • Function as the asset risk program subject matter expert.
  • Support the asset in understanding and complying with mechanical integrity and facility technical standards
  • Support the asset in understanding and complying with OSHA PSM, EPA RMP and similar regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize risk program compliance, facility technical standard compliance and other position responsibilities through expertise, teamwork and coordination with [Company].
  • Support other HES and Asset initiatives and programs.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • BS degree in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years engineering work experience involving coordinating/managing facility construction and/or maintenance projects/work. Prefer experience be petroleum or power plant related.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in HES risk management and loss prevention. Prefer experience be petroleum or power plant related.
 
 
Strong working knowledge of the following:
  • OSHA Process Safety Management
  • EPA Risk Management Plan
  • DOT pipeline requirements
  • National standards: API, ASTM, ASME, NFPA, NEC, ISA, etc.
  • Process Hazard Analysis process and techniques
  • Management of Change
  • Mechanical Integrity practices/procedures
  • Strong computer/software skills related to job responsibilities
  • Strong blueprint/construction drawing interpretation skills
  • Experience in performing regulatory and/or program audits/reviews
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills to implement program changes while functioning in a support role
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Strong and verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
 
Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with HES assessment/auditing
  • Management program administration
  • Ability to work across all levels of organization
  • Experience working with field labor force with petroleum industry experience preferred
  • Experience in safety and/or environmental program implementation
  • Creativity
