JOB DESCRIPTION
Base organisation:
- In general, Storeman shall perform any logistics tasks which have been instructed by Warehouse Foreman.
- Load and unload external conveyances
- Acceptance checks of goods
- Pick goods in accordance with requisitions and lists
- Pack and label goods
- Deliver goods to Workshop
- Prepare dispatch documents
- Driving forklift
- Report damages and deviations in accordance to procedures
- Systematise and update logs and dispatch documentation
- Update all transactions in Supply Chain Management System
- Participate in Stocktakings
- Keep warehouse area tidy
- Actively participate in HSE matters
- Participate in logistics improvement processes
- Participate in projects’ general warehouse work
Projects:
- In general, storeman shall execute any Logistics tasks which have been instructed by Material Coordinator.
- Load and unload internal and external conveyances
- Acceptance checks of backload
- Pack and label equipment and material dispatches
- Driving forklift
- Report damages and deviations in accordance to procedures
- Systematise and update logs and dispatch documentation
- Participate in Stocktakings
- Keep warehouse area tidy
- Actively participate in HSE matters
- Participate in logistics improvement processes
- Participate in base organisation’s general warehouse work
RESPONSIBILITY
Base organisation:
- Storeman is responsible to follow any issued procedures and guidelines which relates to receipt, picking, packing and dispatch and internal transport of goods
- Storeman has authority to require necessary assistance from applicant or MC Engineer for executing acceptance checks on purchased goods
Projects:
- Storeman is responsible for executing acceptance checks and packing in accordance with procedures when mobilising and demobilising of equipment. In general, follow-up projects’ stock hold
- If necessary, and in order to execute the work, Storeman has authority to require assistance from Workshop when acceptance check work is required
- In periods with heavy workloads in own project, Storeman shall also make use of other warehouse personnel and organise the execution of the work tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Storeman shall in principle hold Certificate of Apprenticeship related to Material Administration
- Storeman shall possess Forklift Certificate
- Eduction from lower level may be compensated with long term branch experience or relevant branch courses

GENERAL
- Storeman has a duty to keep-up a good communication with project personnel and other Company departments. It is also necessary with active and good collaboration towards other company units, e.g. [Location], et al. Matters as to principal cooperation questions shall be presented to Department Manager Procurement & Logistics.
- Have a significant demand for initiative, flexibility and cooperation skills.
- Work in compliance with requirements set in [Company] Subsea Services Norway’s Flow Charts and Procedures available on Intranet
- Work in conformity with relevant ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management – enhance Customer satisfaction) requirements set for [Company] Subsea Services Norway
