Job Description:
[Company] Upstream Research Company, Houston, TX, has a full-time opening for a Research Lab Technician. A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, geochemistry, or related science is preferred, though comparable experience will also be considered.
Experience / Qualifications:
- A master’s degree is also accepted in above disciplines.
- Experience is required working in a lab applying liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, and/or mass spectrometry in geochemistry, petrochemicals, or other organic chemistry-related field.
- Position requires ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems with various lab instruments and a desire to collaborate with research professionals on the development and testing of new analytical procedures.
- Experience applying laboratory QA/QC is also desirable.
