Tasks and responsibilities:
- Quality Management is responsible for all department activities; handling of customers’ representatives and suppliers relevant for manufacturing and responsible contact for all imposed customer audits.
- Responsible for quality issues requested for tenders, making sure that our contracts reflect our service level.
- Responsibility to participate in the department management team, and to contribute in the forming and running of improvement projects.
- Ensure fulfillment of contractual quality requirements through projects (Tender, design, purchasing, manufacturing and delivery).
- Actively participate in projects to ensure that agreed gate reviews are accomplished.
- Ensuring continuous improvement of the department processes through audits and KPI measurements.
- Contribute in implementation and improvement of the Operating System.
- Facilitate and follow-up of the continuous improvement activities, including handling of non-conformities.
- Ensure delivery of monthly NCR reports with analyses, evaluations and recommendations for improved performance.
- Coordinate QA activities as required, and liaise with project quality managers.
- Participate in the general QM network when required.
- Actively contribute in general engineering work, to ensure quality compliance. The position is given authority to fulfill the mentioned tasks.
Education:
- Minimum B.Sc. or equivalent.
General requirements:
- Knowledge of methods and working processes applied in [Company].
- Knowledge of Subsea equipment and environment.
- Extensive knowledge of quality management principles and methods.
- Extensive knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
Communication and presentation skills:
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft programs and SAP.
- Fluent in oral and written English and Norwegian.
