Job Description:
Houston company is seeking a Technical Safety Specialist for an assignment in Malaysia.
Provide safety support for an offshore platform. The position is for six to twelve months, and is based in Malaysia.
The candidate must meet the following requirements:
- B.Sc. in Chemical, Process, Safety or Mechanical Engineering;
- At least 12 years' process/safety design work in the oil and gas industries or equivalent.
- 10 years in risk and safety, including process safety management and asset integrity management.
Experience of:
- HEMP analysis;
- HAZID and HAZOP studies;
- Fire and explosion analysis;
- Fire protection;
- Plant Layout Methodology;
- Escape, Evacuation & Rescue Analysis;
- Temporary Refuge Analysis;
- Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis;
- ALARP;
- Development of HSE/Safety Cases;
- Safety codes and standards.
- Knowledge of Asset Integrity and Process Knowledge of the risk management systems and software used by Shell is highly desirable.
