Overview:
The Corporate Services Team has an exciting contract opportunity for an Application Deployment QC Analyst to join their team.
As a member of the team you will be responsible for performing various day-to-day activities related to the EnCana Application Lifecycle for applications in both the Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Citrix environments.
Note:

Responsibilities:
- engaging the Application Owners regarding the application requirements for their Business Units
- implementation and maintainence of process flows for Application Object Management
- implementation and mantainence of processes and procedures for Application Object Management
- conducting Application Object Quality Control (QC) processes and procedures for Upgrades and New Releases
- conducting Application Object Quality Control (QC) processes and procedures for Retirement and Cleanup
Qualifications:
- must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- experience with Managed Intel Workstation environments
- experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes
- working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- working knowledge of Citrix environments
- experience with Novell ZENworks, Softricity SoftGrid, Citrix v4, Novell eDirectory, Windows file system management, and Livelink
- 3+ years experience with adhering to IT Infrastructure LIbrary (ITIL) based change control procedures
- 3+ years experience with establishing and maintaining relationships between IT support groups and specific business areas
- 3+ years experience coordinating with regional counterparts for software deployment and troubleshooting
- 3+ years facilitating the coexistence and integrity of several Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) compliant directories with regards to electronic software distribution
- 3+ years experience supporting, maintaining, enhancing and/or upgrading of all applications for the XP desktops (ZENworks) and Citrix/SoftGrid environments
- 3+ years experience planning, organizing, and managing applications for Quality Control (QC), testing, and implementation to production environments
- 3+ years experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security models in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- 3+ years experience supporting and maintaining a portfolio of existing applications
- 3+ years experience providing support for project initiatives as required
- working knowledge of the EnCana environment would be an asset
- good communication skills
- be a team player with the ability to work with a capable team with diverse skills
- ability to carry out tasks to completion a positive attitude
