Overview:
FASTTRACK (IE010)
The Corporate Services Team has an exciting contract opportunity for a Business Analyst to join their team. As a member of the team your primary focus of this position would be to bridge the gap between Corporate Communications (including E-Communications, Investor Relations, Media Relations, Community Investment, etc.), and Corporate Communication IT Solutions which is responsible for the majority of their Information Technology (IT) needs.

Responsibilities:
- participating in the creation of business system strategies and mangaement of the clients' opportunity portfolio
- coordinating all activities and decisions assoicated with solution design, development, and delivery to achieve desired business outcomes
- advising clients on how to use technology effectively to meet the business units goals and objectives
- applying and promoting [Employer] Business Analysis methodologies, project, and change management practices and IS Services policies and practices
- ensuring the solution delivered meets the scope, cost, and time commitments for the change improvement initiative
- building relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- 1 to 3 years experience/knowledge in advanced HTML, XML, Javascript, and CSS
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst having lead 1 to 5 business process improvement initiatives
- 5 years of business management or management consulting experience or 5 years of technical or service delivery experience
- 5+ years web site support experience
- 1 to 2 years understanding of web servers and/or application development
- understanding of browser capatibility
- basic knowledge of web server functionality
- working knowledge or re-engineering, continuous improvement, and change management practices
- experience running your own web site or blog would be an asset
- experience with editors (i.e. FrontPage, Dreamweaver, etc.) would be an asset
- solid networking and communication skills
- comfortable working with non-technical individuals
