Skill Requirements:
- Education: Completion of high school Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Standard First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
- Experience: 1 - 6 months
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Oil and Gas Well Drilling Worker Specific Skills:
- Align and manipulate sections of pipe or drill stem from a platform on the rig derrick, Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs
Oil and Gas Well Services Operator Specific Skills:
- Drive well services truck to well site, Attach pumps and hoses to wellhead, Operate hydraulic pumping systems
Additional Skills:
- Train and supervise floorhands, assistants and helpers Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment:
- Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling
