Duties & Responsibilities: (not listed in any particular order)
- Identify specific WEC market areas of opportunity and production chemical formulas and technical support requirements.
- Manage the development of a production chemical line (specific formulas and molecules) utilizing basic chemical intermediates manufactured by WEC.
- Develop the product line by hiring qualified and experienced lab and field technicians to specifically develop molecules and chemical formulas used in the processing of crude to enhance the production of crude oil.
- Manage the chemical distribution system within the territory utilizing company infrastructures services, networks and facilities.
- Manager and personally supervise a technical training program that will be introduced to all company field locations.
- Manage and, in the future, select a qualified team of marketing and technical sales support staff to meet requirements within the territory.
- Participate and manage the overall product strategy, research and business development requirements, development priority, analysis of market research and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products to be sold and utilized in the territory.
- Manage and coordinate technical product development, estimates of potential profits and release to production.
- Manage and participate in marketing analysis to develop product definitions and set launch process as well as development of a marketing strategy utilizing the facilities to access the market.
- Manage and collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, operations, engineering, marketing, manufacturing and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Manage, coordinate and develop marketing material, Power Point presentations, sales literature and provide business financial plans for a specific product line.
- Be responsible for financial and technical justification for product selection/justification and definition.
- Prepare or supervise the product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and product launch strategy including where and when newly developed products are launched.
- Review progress continually through product life cycle to ensure attainment of objectives.
- Know and understand [Company] Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of [Company] .
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years field and management experience in drilling fluids, pipeline operations, well stimulation operations or production chemical development, marketing and management.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years marketing and management experience.
- Knowledge and experience in managing Quality and Safety processes (ISO and API).
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of laboratory and field chemical evaluation hands on experience.
