Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum three (3) years experience in mechanical and dimensional inspection at a manufacturing facility and capable of passing annual eye exam
- Mechanical, coatings, and welding inspection
- Demonstrated self-starter with high initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to use hand held inspection tools, such as: micrometer, caliper, height gages, thread gages, plug gages, pin gages, and functional gages.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings (blueprints), work instructions and bill of materials
- Basic Microsoft Office applications skills and minimum of 2 years experience with Data Entry
- Ability to read and write English, with a high level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- AWS - Certified Welding Inspector
- ASQ - Certified Quality Inspector
- The QC Inspector must apply the methods and procedures prescribed in the Quality System
- Must be able to generate and maintain data for the control of documentation, effectively report information, and accurately respond to questions from production employees, internal suppliers, and customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation at all times during the manufacturing and inspection process, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Understand basic manufacturing flows.
- Communicate nonconformances and work with Quality Engineering to drive corrective actions.
