Required Skills / Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years experience in mechanical and dimensional inspection at a manufacturing facility
Mechanical, assembly inspection
Demonstrated self-starter with high initiative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Utilize standard precision measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers and gages), visual inspection techniques, basic shop math and trigonometry
Must have the demonstrated skills/ working knowledge of CMM measuring equipment such as the Faro Laser Tracker system
Ability to determine part conformance from inspection data in accordance with drawings and specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS office software
Ability to read and write English, with a high level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
ASQ - Certified Quality Inspector
The QC Inspector must apply the methods and procedures prescribed in the Quality System
Must be able to generate and maintain data for the control of documentation, effectively report information, and accurately respond to questions from production employees, internal suppliers, and customers.
Maintain accurate documentation at all times during the manufacturing and inspection process, ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices.
Understand basic manufacturing flows.
Communicate nonconformances and work with Quality Engineering to drive corrective actions.
