Two career opportunities are available:
 
Landfill Business Manager- Suncor Main Plant and Firebag Sites
 
The Landfill Business Manager is accountable for engineered landfill operations at the Suncor Main Plant and Firebag sites located near Fort McMurray.
 
Key responsibilities / qualifications include:
  • Health, safety and environmental excellence, people and team development, operational and financial performance, customer-focused solutions and service quality, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency through productivity and continuous improvement.
  • Operational expertise with a minimum of 2 years experience in plant / landfill operations or domestic waste management and possession of an Alberta Landfill Operator Certificate is an asset.
 
North East Alberta Marketing and Sales Representative
 
Responsibilities/ Qualifications Include:
  • The North East Alberta Marketing and Sales Representative is accountable for establishing effective client relations and account management, presenting a broad range of service offerings and developing customer-oriented solutions, participating in marketing strategy determination through conflicting market analysis and economic research, and negotiating and implementing service agreements effectively to ensure superior service delivery.
  • Key considerations are; proven marketing and sales success with a minimum of five years experience in oilfield waste market and/or oil and gas exploration and production.
  • Geographic market knowledge of north east Alberta is an asset.
