Description:
Supervisor of Human Resources - responsible for administration of the HR function for a location with 2500 employees located across the South Central and eastern United States. HR functions will include oversight of new hire processing, background investigations, and drug testing program. Employee Relations functions will include duties such as coaching/counseling, administering terminations, reviewing involuntary terminations, developing and presenting policies and procedures. Will have direct reports. Will have a strong working relationship with payroll department. Will be acting as an arm of the corporate Human Resources group. This position will have direct contact with President of organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is required. Professional certification is a plus. Prefer Human Resources experience in Oil/Gas industry or manufacturing industry. Previous HR management experience is required. Including managing HR functions for plant/site of 1000+ employees.
