Key accountabilities
• Responsible for health, safety, and environmental performance
• Provides troubleshooting expertise on all operating/equipment related issues within Pump Station A2/Intermediate Pigging A1.
• Provides mentoring and coaching within PS A2/IP A1 on best practices, cost control, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), personnel development
• Jointly accountable with PS A2/IP A1 Maintenance Supervisor for safe preparedness of equipment for maintenance and re-instated activities applying permitting and communication of hazards process.
• Jointly accountable with Training Coordinator for coordination/completion of the area training plans.
• Jointly accountable with Ops Support Engineers for developing and coordinating implementation of special procedures.
• Provides leadership in emergency response efforts.
• Primary accountability for on-shift scheduling, and other unit personnel issues for their team
Essential criteria & qualifications
• Azerbaijani citizenship
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years crude oil pipe line operations or equivalent experience required.
• Competency of Integrated Safe System of Work Area Authority role
Desirable criteria & qualifications
• Leadership skills in directing, appraising, counseling, and coaching employees.
• Possesses the skills required to conduct an incident investigation
• Familiar with API, ISO14001 standards and recommended practices.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, including Process Safety Management.
• Background in pipeline operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with and ability to use common office and computer applications and software.
