The following list outlines the key activities that fit within the role of the Non-Industrial Maintenance Supervisor:
• Ensure non-industrial contractor complies with established control of work system.
• Will be tasked with the [Company] control and management of the non-industrial Maintenance activities.
• Responsible for the contractor delivery of the day-to-day craft maintenance activities.
• Will provide multi-disciplinary supervisory leadership to the non-industrial maintenance team.
• In conjunction with the Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for review of contractor maintenance plan.
Key accountabilities
• Agree day-to-day activity priorities with the non-industrial contractor.
• Responsible for ensuring that the non-industrial contractor has a technician competency profile and training plan with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Superintendent.
• Responsible for non-industrial compliance with safety and integrity requirements. With additional control of Electrical Safety.
• Control the management of maintenance and repair of the facility mobile equipment through the non-industrial contractor.
• Actively promote the [Company] behavioural standards.
• Assist in the compilation of the non-industrial maintenance budget with specific discipline focus.
• Monitor the non-industrial Maintenance Management System.
• Monitor contractor performance against plan ensuring no unacceptable backlog.
• Responsible for mobilisation of Specialist support out with non-industrial contractors scope.
• Develop wider appreciation of all Maintenance supervisory aspects. To this end undertake cross discipline training.
• Will act as the link to the Engineering Team for specific resolution of technical issues.
Essential criteria & qualifications
• Azerbaijani citizenship
• Minimum 3 years of craft maintenance background or related experience.
• Proven history in maintenance of petrochemical equipment.
• Certified in electrical / instrument/mechanical maintenance disciplines
• Strong leadership skills.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
• Self motivated and able to work with minimum guidance
• Good communication skills, including developing and articulation of plans, procedures and practices.
• Good coaching skills and a willingness to train mentor and develop staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be team player.
