Urgently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an onshore Refinery position.
The work is on rotation – 28 days on site and 28 days off, located in ASEAN hotspot.
- You have a Mechanical Engineering degree with 7 years or more relevant experience on Design Engineering / Project Engineering works, preferably in the oil & gas industry, chemical or petrochemical industry
- Specific experience with rotating equipment
- Understand the principles and functions of pressure vessels; heat exchangers; pumps; storage tanks, pipes, valves and fittings and can relate them to relevant codes such as API , ASME, AWS, NFPA, etc.
- Ability to prepare engineering drawings and can read drawings well
- Proficient in preparing project descriptions; mechanical equipment data sheets;
- Knowledgeable in Project Gantt charts; ability to track construction progress
- Knowledge-sharing/mentoring abilities and strong communication skills.
