Role Summary/Purpose
The Sales Manager East Coast Australia plays a key role within the Asia Pacific [Company] Sales organization and impacts on the country’s go-to-market strategy. He/she will be responsible for growing the Turbomachinery orders in the country and will demonstrate leadership in managing new accounts penetration within the assigned area. He/she will maintain and grow market share and will support and represent a defined product portfolio.
 
Essential Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the identification of potential growth markets/segments as well as for the definition and implementation of the relevant growth strategy/initiatives that fits with [Company] business imperatives and products/services capabilities
  • Responsible to drive and support Turbomachinery transactional and non-transactional growth opportunities in the country
  • In-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas and PG Markets and Customers
  • Define and implement of Oil& Gas marketing and commercial strategies in order to increase orders volume and profitability
  • Leverage cross-functional and cross-business resources to maximize market penetration
  • Promote leads generation for [Company]
  • Establish a systematic business scouting plan with the purpose of identifying new market opportunities
  • Coordinate sales activities ensuring the development of the [Company] brand awareness in the market
  • Customer Centricity
  • Able to generate immediate credibility with key customers and to understand their needs and solve their problems in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Report country’s market dynamics/trends, financial objectives and results
 
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Ability to execute and communicate Sales/Growth strategies in a global environment, to
  • achieve the aggressive Sales/Growth goals of the company
  • Sales Experience in the Oil & Gas and PG markets
 
MUST HAVE: Sales/Commercial experience (7+ yrs)
 
Desired Characteristics
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (only for [Company] employees).
  • A local package will be offered.
