Role Summary/Purpose
This is a HR leader position leading the full spectrum of HR activities to support the Global Services business and organizational development activities for [Company] business in China. With the growth of the organization, this role may resume broader client support scope such as Turbo-Machinery organization in China. This role will be based in [Location].
 
Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide regional HR support to employees in the above mentioned organizations in China
  • Work closely with global P&L HRMs to help align the functional/P&L HR strategy to the regional HR strategy
  • Lead critical HR processes/activities for client group: annual review process (Session C), salary planning, employee development, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and retention efforts
  • Lead and facilitate critical organizational development programs and projects such as China Competency Development Program/China Rotation Program
  • Ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws & regulations
  • Strategically partner with client manager and business leader to design and develop organizational structure and leadership to support business objectives
  • Act as an impartial advocate ensuring that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment; be a strong coach.
  • Lead communication strategy for the client organizations
  • Other HR related activities that may required by business needs
 
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years HR experience, experience in supporting fast growth business/ organization is desired
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Be able to initiate and work at strategic level with solid execution
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to drive rigor and process
  • Positive, proactive approach to problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
