Job Detail:
Responsible for warehouse inventory transactions, stocking, ordering and maintenance. Assist in maintaining inventory levels to meet the demands of the area market and conditions. Direct contact with customers for phone and walk in sales. Some local outside sales required. Keeps maintenance records on company vehicles and facility as directed. Responsible for branch safety program and the maintenance of proper records.
Responsibilities:
- Physically stocks and arranges warehouse. Moves supplies in and out of warehouse/storage areas for stocking, shipping and sales.
- Utilizes on-line computer system to order parts and materials required to meet sales demands and to maintain inventory levels for maximum use of inventory, lead-times and pricing.
- Assists walk in and phone customers
- Makes deliveries of parts to remote customer locations, other warehouses, freight companies and picks up parts and supplies as required.
- Loads/unloads freight trucks.
- Actively supports, participates in and maintains the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility's safety program; ensuring a safe/healthy environment.
- Actively supports and participates in the company's Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
- Performs a variety of functions necessary for the successful operation of the facility, as required by the management of the company.
Qualifications:
- Highschool graduate or equivalent with five years warehouse experience
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Hands-on experience in operating and maintenance of motorized equipment
- Must be able to type 25 wpm and be computer literate
