Introduction:
A specialist market leader is looking for an account manager with 1-2 years sales experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry or a technical sector.
Job Specification:
Based in [Location] this position offers a fantastic opportunity to progress within a market leading company in the oil and gas industry. Ideally suited to a proactive candidate with account management or sales experience working within a technical sector.
Responsible to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- To establish long term business relationships with key clients
- Provide client support throughout projects
- Be involved in all aspects of the projects including:
- Negotiation of contracts
- Liaising with other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, invoices are paid and customer satisfaction remains high
- Monitors market expectations, requirements and trends and provides market input on client accounts
- Reports monthly on key performance indicators
- Working on ITT (Invitation to Tender) bids and other commercial proposals
- Overseas travel
Key Skills/Experience:
- Sales and marketing experience
- A technical background
- Experience managing client relationships within the oil and gas industry preferable but not essential
- Industry knowledge of subsea processes and products preferable but not essential
This position is based in [Location] and will require travel overseas, possible destinations include Nigeria, Brazil and USA.
The salary for the role is £25-£29k basic depending on experience, 23 days holiday and an excellent benefits package including health care, pension, discounted share option, flexible benefits scheme.
