Job Description:
Provide an exceptionally high level of engineering expertise for the solution of various Oil & Gas reservoir engineering matters pertaining to Company interests. Conduct in-depth reservoir engineering studies that are fully integrated with results, constraints and work products provided by other disciplines i.e. geosciences, drilling and completions and facilities engineers. Identify, evaluate, recommend and implement plans to develop opportunities that enhance the value of the Company. Monitor Oil & Gas production on a continual basis with special emphasis on identification of value-enhancing opportunities, and increasing reserves. Lead teams of Engineers and Geoscientists on assigned projects, and undertake major special project studies as assigned. Provide guidance and mentorship to other Engineers, and is a Company resource for specialized reservoir engineering expertise. This job description reflects the minimum job duties for the lower level position.
Experience / Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required with a minimum of 8 years of advanced technical reservoir engineering experience. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Must be considered capable of effectively representing the Company in meetings and negotiations with partners and government agencies. Should attend at least one major industry school every third year. These requirements reflect the minimum requirements for the lower level position. The level at which a candidate is hired into is dependent upon the skill level and previous related experience of that candidate and the minimum qualifications for such level that they are hired.
