Job Description:
Work as a member of a multi-discipline team within the South Texas Asset Team (“STAT”). Primarily responsible for all land functions associated with STAT as to a defined geographic area. These functions include acreage checks, oil and gas leasing, securing title opinions/curative, property maintenance, property acquisitions and divestitures, farmout/farmins, operating agreements, surface damages, saltwater disposal agreements, rights-of-way agreements, all with limited supervision. Establish and maintain relationships with landowners, industry partners and governmental agencies. This person will also serve as a liaison between many internal Pioneer groups, such as Legal, Tax, Accounting and Land Administration. Must contribute to and support team and corporate initiatives.
Experience / Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required with an emphasis in Land/Energy Management preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of petroleum land experience in a comparable position. Must be able to handle multiple priorities and obtain results in a performance-driven, team environment. Must be proficient with MS office programs. Knowledge of Tobin Land Suites, Landworks and Arcview a plus.
