Position Summary:
The primary job assignment will be in corrosion testing and will involve corrosion analysis using relatively new software technology. The technician will work under the direction of a lead technician, engineer, or scientist. The technician will be expected to generate written reports and present information to small groups.
As the work scope becomes more definite, based on workload, different support options may be enacted. For example, while corrosion testing will be the main focus; other responsibilities could include fluids testing. Due to our current workload and growth plans, we will offer a variety of opportunities that will attempt to match individual capability with group and business need.
Basic/Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Associate's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong computer graphics skills and interests
- Laboratory experience is desirable
- Aptitude and interest in working with technical software and spreadsheets
- Strong communication skills
- Prior knowledge of laboratory data manipulation and calculations
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
