Our client, an international leader in the equipment rental industry is looking for a Business Development Manager. You will be offering a comprehensive variety of top name product categories of rental services to lift, cut, drive and move, while satisfying those short term construction needs and long term equipment projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate to complete contracts with strategic, key and industrial accounts
  • Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and cold-calling
  • Regularly provide senior level presentations to internal and external customers within specified regional area
  • Consistently build relationships with senior level customer contacts
  • Coach and mentor sales team within the region in identifying and developing business prospects
  • Promote account programs to senior level management and customers
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with established strategic, key and industrial accounts
  • Ensure that all accounts are properly administered
  • Develop, implement and sustain quality process improvements
  • Focus strategic initiatives on safety, financials, operations and customer service
Qualifications:
  • You must have at least 10 years of outside sales experience with 5 years successful sales management within the oil and gas sector
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance customer and market share
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to present and sell to high level executives
  • Knowledgeable on various computer software programs such as: Word, Excel, ACT and PowerPoint
  • A good understanding of the equipment rental industry and marketplace
  • Ability to travel 50% of each week
  • Proactive individual who has the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Effective problem solving abilities 
  • Physically fit individual who is an integral part of the team environment
  • Knowledge of various computer software programs such as : Word, Excel, ACT and PowerPoint
