Role synopsis
To manage the global OED6 upgrade programme to sustain ISP as a supported application until it is fully replaced by SAP. ISP is critical to the business operations of R&M and currently processes $300bn worth of transactions annually. ISP will remain a mission critical ERP system until at least 2015 and the current architecture will be unsupportable beyond March 2012. This project will upgrade ISP to OED6 and upgrade the platform to a service life beyond 2015
 
Key accountabilities
•Accountable for Delivery of the OED6 project; on time, in budget ($15m) and within the agreed quality across all ISP countries in Europe, Africa and Australasia.
•Agree the country deployment schedule and work with each country to ensure smooth cutover and go-lives.
•Managing the plan, resources and third parties with transparent and effective risk management.
•Ensure that silent running is maintained during cutover and go live in each country.
•Ensure robust and transparent financial controls are in place for the project.
•Accountable for delivery of all project artifacts and monthly status reporting.
 
Essential criteria & qualifications
•4+ years Project/Programme Management experience.
•Recognised Project Management accreditation (Prince, PMP, PMI).
•Sound experience and track record in a line management role.
•Project cost management and reporting skills.
•Has planned and successfully delivered projects in a complex matrix management environment.
•Has worked with a stage gate investment decision process and fully familiar with the use of related project management methodologies.
•Strong communication skills. In particular the ability to ensure accurate two way communication in an environment where, whilst it is the working (& the shared) language, English is frequently not the first language of all participants in a conversation.
•Strong analytical skills in the areas of process and project planning.
•Strong team player.
•Flexible, but able to steer a course in the face of challenge.
 
Desirable criteria & qualifications
•Microsoft Project and Planview.
•Experience in ISP.
•Experience in managing delivery by third parties.
•Good influencing and negotiating skills.
•Has successfully managed all IT related elements of a major change programme, worked closely with business aligned “agents of change”.
•Experience of deploying technology in a multi site environment.
•Experience of project delivery across the globe.
•ADAM AD processes.
•Language skills.
