Description:
The successful candidate would work under the general direction of the Manager of Business Applications and has analyst responsibilities for applications relating to J.D. Edwards software. Must work closely with the user community acting as a functional system analyst working to provide business process solutions within the parameters of the software applications, and offer end user support and training.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysis of business issues, business processes & data challenges of Company’s organization & industry
- Review & edit requirements & specifications & make recommendations related to proposed solutions
- Develop functional & system design specifications.
- Makes technical recommendations, leads testing efforts & ensures timely resolution of issues, identifies required changes & communicates to development team
- Assists in enforcement of project deadlines & schedules, communicates & applies standards & manages resources
- Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project & delivers high-quality services to end users
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of JDE Enterprise One Distribution & Logistics configuration & implementation
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical & problem-solving ability
- Good communication, teamwork, leadership & client management skills
- Technical understanding of application programming, database & system design, Internet, Intranet, Extranet & client/server architectures
- Limited travel required
