We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, results oriented individual for the following positionin Grande Prairie:
Sales Representative North
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the sale and customer service support of fracturing/drilling and other down hole fluids in Northern Alberta.
Other duties will include:
- Responsible for marketing/sales efforts to build and maintain Northern area clientele in the service and producing sectors.
- Communicates fluid pricing and fluid logistics to current and prospective clients.
- Liaises with Truck Transportation to supply reliable, timely transport of products directly to stock points and field lease locations.
- Builds and maintains relationships within the oilfield marketplace (direct competitors, pumping companies, fire protection, mud supply, production companies, etc.)
- Communicates regularly with the Wellsite Fluid Division staff in the Calgary office.
- Stays current on all drilling activity occurring in the Northern sales area.
- Coordinates used fluid buy-back and crediting of used products.
- Responsible for after hour and weekend on-call availability for company/client based issues and orders.
- Expands sales by industry networking and performing cold calls on prospective customers.
As the ideal candidate you will possess:
- Post-secondary education in Business and/or Technical with 7-10 years experience working in oil & gas industry.
- Experience in and understanding of the drilling industry is required.
- Knowledge of fluid pricing and fluid logistics from the supply source to the end user in the field.
- Production experience is an asset.
