Description:
Our client, a leader in the Oil and Gas Industry, is currently looking for a self-motivated, dependable individual to join their team. This individual will have knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
Job Duties Include:
- Development of Contract & Procurement strategies
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and other external stakeholders
- Managing supplier contracts, ie: order and vacuum trucks
- Interaction with Field Buyers
- Obtain business leadership buy-in and support for Contract & Procurement goals and objectives
- Acquisition of third party goods and services
Qualifications:
- Experience with Contractor Management processes and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain policies and procedures
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Demonstrate Inventory analysis and management
- Demonstrate basic negotiating skills
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and understanding of financial control processes
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Must demonstrate ability to multi-task
- Must demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
Technical Skills:
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- SAP experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of the oilfield and drilling services industry
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience Supply Chain Management or Contracts & Procurement
- Minimum 2 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry
