Work tasks and areas of responsibility:
- Material selection in tender and execution phases of large Subsea projects.
- General material support to various departments within the [Company]
- Follow up sub-suppliers and own production sites in material related matters.
- Preferably knowledge in on or more of the following fields; corrosion protection, welding metallurgy, coating or non-metallic materials.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Materials Engineering (PhD/MSc/BSc)
- Solid background, and preferably 2+ years experience, within the field.
- Preferably 1 to 5 years engineering/design experience from subsea or offshore projects
Personal quality:
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, ability to plan and organize work in an efficient manner
- Ability to work in teams
