At [Company] International we're looking for Project Planners to forge into the fastest- growing offshore drilling market. You will manage project planning with respect to engineering, scope of work, budget, and schedule, through all the project phase and in accordance with Company policies, standards and project objectives. With [Company] International being one of the world's largest offshore drilling companies with an increasing focus on deepwater and other high-specification drilling solutions, you will be part of a performance-driven company committed to producing outstanding results.
Position Summary:
Management of major projects planning and scheduling, which includes new construction, major modifications, upgrades and repair of drilling rigs. The position includes the technical and administrates control of the project in accordance with company authorized project objectives, schedule and commercial targets.
Essential Job Functions
Manage project planning with respect to engineering, scope of work, budget, and schedule, through all the project phase and in accordance with Company policies, standards and project objectives.
Participate with shipyard and vendors planning meetings.
Monitor and report progress of the project.
Coordinate project schedule with other departments.
Experience / Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or construction engineering and a minimum of 10 years project related experience or a minimum 15 years of project experience on international projects.
Minimum of 8 years experience with major international projects including 3 years as project planner. It is preferred to have experience in the design, engineering or Operation of various types of offshore drilling units. Must be able to use project schedules for analysis and forecasting.
Good knowledge of project planning techniques including scheduling, budget control. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experienced with world wide shipyards. Familiar with drilling industry technique is preferable. Able to work under pressure. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Project is essential.
Special Requirements: Job requires employee to work with other as a team. It is important to have good reporting, good problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Ingenuity:
This position is required to have a good vision and methodology for planning future and current projects and task and making presentations to management.
Decision Making:
This position is required to make decisions regarding project, which may affect the Company.
Licenses, Certifications Credentials, and Other Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
