Job Description
[Employer] Surveys is a professional services firm, specializing in geomatics and engineering in Western Canada. [Employer] Surveys prides itself on being a well-established ethical company that delivers value to clients, employees and shareholders.
Position:
In this position, you will use CADD and coordinate geometry software on Windows platform workstations to create plans.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Producing all drafting products
- Understanding and producing base file mapping and composite plans
- Identifying and managing survey errors in the CAD environment, working with technicians and land surveyors
- Understanding survey plan content, identifying and evaluating proper evidence descriptions
- Understanding layers, line types and individual client requirements
Qualifications:
- Ideally, you will have post-secondary education in AutoCAD or the equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Map and/or Civil, the survey industry and township system are considered assets.
- The successful candidate must be able to produce accurate and detailed plans and demonstrate exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills.
