General Duties:
Staff level position which reports directly to the construction manager. Must be familiar with all applicable electrical and instrument codes, as well as design procedures. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work in shop, field, facility and pipeline environments. Interpret PIDs, EI drawings, ISOs, and specifications. Verify that circuits and systems are installed per design intent and meet applicable codes. Become familiar with Client Specifications and [Company] Services Quality Programs and Procedures.Initiate and follow BP procedures, lock out/tagout, energy isolation, etc. Participate in walk downs and final turnover walk-downs.
Project estimated to last 4 to 6 months at Endicott Facility on North Slope.
Experience Needed:
Minimum of 5 years related field experience and/or training in the Oil Gas Petrochemical, including 2 years instrumentation field experience and/or training.
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
State of AK Certificate of Fitness/Journeyman, ISA and/or NICET certification required. State of AK Electrical Admin certificate and/or IAE/ICBO Electrical Inspector certification preferred. Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification preferred. This position requires applicants to have a valid driver's license. All successful applicants will be required to sign a Release of Information form and pass a driving record background check as a condition of employment. North Slope Training Co-operative (NSTC) Safety Training is preferred. All candidates that do not already possess an NSTC training card must successfully complete NSTC training that is provided during the orientation process as a condition of employment.
