The Turbomachinery Contract Manager will be a professional who partnering with the Project Manager will assure the flawless execution of the contract assigned.
Essential Responsibilities
He/she will be reponsible to analyze the (sub) contract general terms and conditions highlighting areas of risks such as ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope of works.
As works proceeds, make recommendations to the Project Manager on the mitigation of these risks; closely monitor and support remedial actions and recommended tradeoffs. Responsible for working with the Project Teams members to ensure that [Company] or customers related actions or inactions which could result in constructive (sub) contract changes are identified and make recommendations on their solution. Responsible for the development and management of a procedure to recognize and identify (sub) contract claims as they develop and manage the timely resolution under the change previsions wherever possible, obtaining claims and legal expertise as appropriate. Maintain a working relationship with Project Managers, Engineering, Sourcing, Legal and Risk Management to facilitate interfaces between those performing (sub) contract.
He/she will mainly focus on:
- Vendors Recovery
- Change Orders and Customer’s claims mitigation
- Warranties costs tracking and mitigation
- The ideal candidate has Customer Centric behavior, is able to deal with Customers and Vendors and meet specific requirements when needed.
- He/she has strong team leadership and team building skills, able to effectively communicate with his/her peers and supervisors.
- He/she has good influencing skills when dealing with Functions, effective communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BS Engineering
- Experience in Project Management
- Fluent in English
- Contractual T&C knowledge
